Leo’s Fortune game is a 2D platforming game for iOS platform that was awarded Editor’s Choice by Apple on the App Store which has won many accolades since it went on sale and the game follows:- story of Leopold

The game denotes that the player follows the trail of the stolen treasure and tries to get it back. Leo’s Fortune game is a 2D side-scrolling platforming game that controls Leopold or Leo by the controls on the left side of the screen. The player can make the leopold jump up and down by using the controls on the right side of the screen and by pressing and holding the jump button makes Leo expand and float in the air while slowly descending. This option is very useful to extend the jump by pressing the switches or when needed to stop the leopold from falling down a hole by enlarging it.
As most of the gameplay consists of jumping from one platform to another, gathering the coins and avoiding traps, more frequewntly, the player need to solve a puzzle so as to open a door and progress in the game.
Leo’s Fortune game contains twenty levels totally and each level has three optional objectives such as: - first one – to collect all the coins
- second – to complete without dying
- third – to complete it within a certain amount of time.
More accordingly, the player gets one, two or three stars for the level and other than that, there are also some gears which are spread through some of the levels that the player need to find and collect. Moreover, collecting the coins is the easiest part and they are right in the player’s path that are impossible to miss. Completing the level without dying is quite difficult and however finishing it under the specified time is more difficult.

Leo’s Fortune game provides to switch to fixed buttons on the screen, which is the ideal way to play the game, but while the movement controls have a wide touch area the jumping controls are more precise and thus the player have to tap precisely on the buttons to jump which is not so easy.
In Leo’s Fortune game, hitting the buttons is one thing but the movement of the character are a bit sluggish and the Leo’s movements are not as twitchy as expected from the characters in these games and the player carries a certain amount of inertia that makes a quick movements difficult that often end s up dying a ridiculous number of times as because the player just can’t get him to move as quickly.
Leo’s Fortune – Graphics and Sound:
Leo’s Fortune game is a beautifully designed game and everything from the backgrounds to the platforms and the traps are all well crafted. Even, the characters are also well depicted as the animation gives the character responds to little things around it so as to add a bit more depth to it.As the game is non-Retina, the developers have a good excuse to release a game on iOS in 2014 without Retina graphics and this was a tactic used by some games in the past because the iPad 3 hardware was not powerful enough to run 3D games at native resolution but in the way of hardware capability, this is not even a 3D game. In terms of sound, Leo’s Fortune game comes with a fantastic job with a stunning soundtrack for all the levels and even the sound effects are great along with the voice for Leopold and the player can also hear him occasionally commenting on his surroundings and be rather pleased with himself when he traverses a rather complicated the series of traps.
