Karbonn Sparkle V, the Android One smartphone now gets its Android 5.1 Lollipop update

It was Micromax and Spice that earlier received their Android 5.1 Lollipop updates and following them the Karbonn Sparkle V Android One phone has also got its Android 5.1 Lollipop update, though being late in the crowd it has achieved its update. It was last week where both Micromax Canvas A1 and Spice Dream Uno, Android One smartphones received their Android 5.1 Lollipop update marking the first major update for the Lollipop OS.
The Karbonn Sparkle V device is to get its upgraded software rolled out through OTA (over-the-air) release via any Karbonn service centres. Also users are allowed to manually check for the update on their device by selecting “Settings – About phone – Software update”.
The actual belief is that Android One smartphones are to be on par with Google and Nexus Play Edition devices when considering software updates. But for some reason it appears that Google apparently ignored these handsets at the time of its Android 5.0 Lollipop OS launch.
With regards to the updates change-log, there seems to be nothing still revealed out by the company as such. Though both Spice Dream Uno and Micromax Canvas A1 received their updates some time earlier, the Karbonn Sparkle V received its update only now, the reason being unknown. Whatever it might be, now even the Karbonn Sparkle V users can experience the OS’s all new features that includes fresh notifications area, new design language, battery performance getting better and many more.
