Mobile Network EE has just launched a scheme that offers free portable smartphone chargers to all their customers. Carriers are on the look at new ways to attract customers . There are quite a few ways to fish customers, starting from subsidised subscription charges, discounts and so on . But this scheme offered by EE  is quite practical. The EE Power Scheme is so that it allows customers to walk into the retail store and pick up a free portable smartphone charger.

This EE Power Scheme is available to all monthly plan EE Customers on mobile and broadband. The scheme is also available to pay as you go users who have been associated with the network for at least  three months. These portable chargers can be requested via text messages. The chargers charge phones through micro USB when it is plugged in. But iPhone chargers have to connect using their own charging cables to connect to the portable charger. The chargers can be availed at the EE retail store. EE Power Scheme has also provided options for customers who are out and unable to charge a dead Power Bar. The option lets you to swap it unlimited number of times for free at any EE Store. This option comes as a part of the EE Power Scheme. The network proudly calls itself “a never ending power” scheme.

The 2600mAh battery  of EE within the EE branded Power Bar will charge fully for four hours. This time is typically te time that it will take to charge a smartphone. The battery size is the same that is housed in the Samsung Galaxy  S4. Researchers all overs pointing out that 60% of the smartphone users claim that the battery does not last a full day. Non-EE customers can join EE Power Scheme at a cost of £20. The Power bar boasts its chariging indicator light that shows the charge left in the bar.The portable charger is also an LED Torch. Some other portable battery chargers are Mophie Juice Pack, the Proporta Stripe TuboCharger and many others.
