Have you ever wondered if our human body
can act as a medium for wireless communication? Well, at the annual
international conference of the “IEEE Engineering in Medicine and
Biology Society” in Milan, Italy, recently a team of electrical
engineers have come up with a new way of wireless communication where
data is transmitted by sending magnetic signals through the human body.
Magnetic Field Body Communication
The researchers from university of California-San Diego
are now planning to develop an ultra low power wireless system which
would allow easy transmission of information through the human body. The
new technology has the potential to become an improved alternative to
existing wireless communication systems, and could offer a more secure
and low power way to communicate between wearable electronic devices.
