Facebook will Not Take Away Internet.Org from India

For a past few months & now, India is strongly under the process of scrutinizing the major internet concept, none other than #NETNEUTRALITY. Some of the major private organization is interested in overcoming the current internet policies to gain maximum profits from their internet areas, especially the telecom operators, just by providing certain outline benefits to the end user. The Internet.org is one among the major initiative from the social media giant, Facebook, which is targeted to provide free internet access to various resources. By the way, the Internet.org is a joint initiative of the Facebook along with 6 other electronics makers like Nokia, Samsung, Qualcomm, MediaTek, Ericsson and Opera Software as well.

Criticized for Violating Net Neutrality:

The project Internet.org is specially designed to provide internet services to less developed countries by increasing the efficiency and new business model development around the provision of Internet access sectors. Often, Facebook is under the critics of violating the net neutrality of India and favoring certain services to its own company to gain access over their rivals in the market.
