19 Year Old Harsh Songra Finds Place on Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg’s Timeline for My Child App

Facebook just crossed the milestone of over 1 billion users logging in on a single day. With such a huge user base, getting yourself featured on the timeline of a Facebook COO is like picking up a drop from the sea. Not many get the opportunity to be featured like that and receive the praise of the whole world. This is what 19 year old Indian boy Harsh Songra could achieve. He has turned out to be a someone the whole world knows in just a day after Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg praised him on her timeline for the app he has created.

On last Wednesday, Harsh was woken up at 2 am by the frequent notifications from Facebook, after  Sheryl Sandberg, the Chief Operating Officer of Facebook published a post on her timeline about Harsh and his start-up, the ‘My Child’ App. In her post, Sandberg tells about the story of harsh and his app. She tells about how Songra and other such start-ups are being supported by Facebook under its FBStart programme. “We’re supporting developers like Harsh who have great ideas but can’t always access the resources they need,” she posted.
