In a major attempt to figure out the mobile a wallet, Google has launched the Android Pay. Google has claimed that this app will be available for small batch of users. This is before the Android Pay will be available for most Android phones that have NFC and are running on Android 4.4 Kitkat or above by the weekend.
For all the users who have installed the Google Wallet, there will soon be an update that morphs the app into the Android Pay.
Google Wallet has been re-released as a separate app that will form
here on focus on all payments between friends and family just like
Square Cash and Venmo. All other features like the loyalty programs,
gift cards and offers from Google Wallet will be now moved to Android
Pay.
Android Pay will allow you to make
contactless payments using smartphones with the participating retailers.
This is just like Apple pay and Samsung Pay. Google says it will be
adding to the roster of banks and compatible credit or debit cards all
the time just like Apple lets it users in Apple Pay.
