Solar Flow battery that saves 20% energy

The researchers have developed the first aqueous solar flow battery that is 20 percent more efficient than today’s traditional batteries.  The device contains a solar cell and a battery which are combined together into one package. The scientists have already revealed world’s first solar battery last year, but this time with slight modifications. The research shows that this new aqueous solar flow battery outperforms the traditional lithium-iodine batteries, with claim over 20 percent of energy savings and is seen as a milestone in the field of technology.
