In this new world which is totally
connected by cell phones and Wi-Fi, can you imagine living in a town
where there is no mode of such new connectivity options? For almost all
who read this article it would not be even possible to think about a
life without being connected to each other. But, there is actually some
town like that in US, where people even now live in the 80’s era giving
up the comforts of all the latest technology. It is the town called
Green Bank.
Green Bank is a small town located in West Virginia. This town comes under the National Radio Quiet Zone.
In this town you won’t get any cell phone reception, Wi-Fi, or even
radio or television connection. It is possibly one of the quietest towns
in the world and would seem to be quite technologically backward for
you by now. But actually the town is way ahead than what you think.
