Security researchers of IBM have claimed that they have discovered a way to take advantage out an Android flaw. These Android flaws
puts about 55% of all Android phones at high risk of being exposed to
cyber hacks and breaks.Security Analysts from IBM suggest that these Android Flaws could make the cyber attackers plant fake applications that make them take control of a particular phone. Patches
issued from Google for the threats for Android 5.1, Android 5.0,
Android 4.4 and Android M devices. But the fact that there lies a fear
in if these patches are yet to make it to the Android devices.
There lies the vulnerability
that the Android Flaws could somehow allow the attackers to ramp up
their privileges through fake applications to gather the users sensitive
data from phones. These fake apps are often loaded with many malwares
that collect all personal information through just a Facebook page.
These malwares can steal all confidential
banking information from the banking apps that are loaded or the login
credentials. It can also access the phone’s camera, contact list, stored
files and e-mail record that contains valuable information. These kind
of threats give momentum to the immediate requirement for standardising
and improving the security related to smartphones.
