Convertible devices have been gaining
much attention in the tech world. As the smartphones are getting bigger
and better, and the tablets, because of its size and limits of
functionality, are not much becoming a replacement for conventional
laptops, convertible devices are finding a niche space, where they can
replace the tablets. Asus, the Taiwanese computer manufacturer, has come up with two new convertible devices that fit right into this space.
Asus Transformer Book T100HA, which runs on the latest windows 10 OS out of the box, and Transformer Book Flip TP200SA,
a 360 degree flip laptop are the two new devices launched by the
company. The Asus Transformer Book T100HA is essentially a tablet which
comes with a detachable keyboard. The convertible device comes with
rather moderate hardware modules. It has a 10.1 inch display with 1280 x
800 resolution at 129 ppi. The convertible tablet is powered by an
Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor clocked at 2.24GHz. The device comes in
two different RAM options, 2GB and 4GB. The option for inbuilt storage
also varies from 32GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. The users also have the option
to choose the operating system, Windows 10 home, or Windows 10 pro, as
per their wish.
